Yes, I agree it is a lot of gear. No question about that one. But I find it more reasonable then what was first planned.
Becoming a pro is my goal, and it has been for many years. Will it happen? I don't know. But I am going to do everything I can to make it happen. Just because something isn't important to you, doesn't mean it isn't to someone else. I would much rather set goals that are hard to achieve, then something that any one can do.
As far as the old guys not doing it like this, I don't think that is entirely true. There are a lot of variables that come in to play that make each situation different. My father was a bodybuilder and competed in the 70's and early 80's. He isn't a household name by any means, but at one point, he shared the stage with many greats. I've talked to him about what kinds of cycles he and others ran, and if you think they were just using DBol, then you are greatly mistaken. Also, guys now are carrying around a lot more size then they did back then. They have pushed the threshold to going beyond genetic potential. So more is needed to maintain and keep growing. Don't get me wrong. People like Frank Zane look amazing, but I want to be bigger than them.
Thanks for you feedback though, I truly appreciate your insight.
