Is My Back/Bi Workout Adequate to Get a Big Back and Bi's?

I usually hit them once a week on tuesday.

It goes like this

back
3 sets of wide grip pull ups reps 12, 8, and then probably 6 or 7
3 sets of staight leg dead lifts 8 to 10 rep range(almost to failure but not quite)
3 sets of HEAVY bent over dumbbell rows
3 sets of lat pull downs
3 sets of of either the two foot double handle rows pulls from above or row style(I alternate this)

bis
3 set straight bar curls with heaviest weight I can do first then lowering to keep reps to 7 or more on subsequent sets
3 sets of hammer curls
2 sets of incline bench curls

Is that enough or should I add more?

no dont add more, less is more is a better approach. take out straight legged deadlifts, they are for hamstring not back, and replace them with conventional deadlift.

for back i would do
deadlifts
wide grip pull ups
bentover row
close grip pulldown

keep the weght heavy and the mass will fly on

My thoughts exactly.

I'm with these guys, but I think you should spend most of your back day grinding out deads. If you're doing deads right, you won't be able to do pull-ups, rows, and pulldowns afterwords.

When I had a decent gym to train at and was "bodybuilding"..here is about what I did.

Chins 2-3 sets
Barbell Rows 3 sets
Dbell or low pulley rows 2-3 sets
Deadlifts 2-5 sets...all depending on how I felt and what I did prior.

Most of my reps were in the 3-8 rep range.

deathonthefield ... deads, whether stiff or bent legged, will work your entire back very well. i prefer bent legged myself.

Mine looks like this:
3 sets lat pulldowns
3 sets t-bar rows
3 sets close-reverse grip pulldowns
3 sets heavy DB rows
3 sets pullovers
3 sets stifflegged deads

i dont always do the pullovers, only like once a month.

I also do some bi work on back day (i have a day for bis and tris and fores)

2 sets DB curls
2 sets preacher BB curl
2 sets hammers
2 sets concentration curls.

When im on cycle, i can always do more (im on cycle), but when off, i cant do bis, my back workout takes it out of me.
