Is masturbation a sin?

There is no condemnation in the bible strictly relating to masturbation. Anything anyone can quote is simple interpretation. SOME conservative denominations would have you believe that it is a sin, but only illicit fantasies are ever listed as being sinful. Masturbation is never mentioned in the bible, ever. I can't speak for others, but I don't actually fantasize when I flick the bean. I'm all about focussing on sensation.

Look at it like this...we cannot tickle ourself...yet we can get ourselves off. If you believe god designs us with purpose, the ability to pleasure ourselves can be seen as a gift to resist temptation. That's my opinion anyway.

Rom 14:12-13 (NIV) So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God. Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling-block or obstacle in your brother's way.

There are a lot of animals in the animal kingdom who do not read the bible.
And they masturbate.
Coincidence? I think not.

Hmm, did the creator create us before we created him?

Well religions created some distorted image of a "divine entity"; but the original creator was there before us; even more, there are chances that he is still alive in his home planet.

The only initial purpose of the creation was slavery. "God" instructed humans to reproduce themselves because they needed more workers. The initial batch of the new hybrid specie (humans) was unable to procreate. The latest version, "The Adam" was improved, with better mental skills, able to reproduce, and designed in their self image and likeness.

I have no idea how that's relevant to my post lol.

lol yeah I shouldn't have quoted you. It was a general opinion based on historic data, way more accurate than the bible. The old testament was written thousands of years after the creation.

i believe your perspective dj_ufo, but it terrifies me as i believe its a scary outlook on life. believing we are all just slaves.

Well the "truth" it is scary, shocking indeed, and certainly 98% of the creation would be unable to handle a life, a future, a prosperity, without what they were told to believe in from day number one. However, our initial purpose of existence, slavery, is not the same anymore. After thousands of years, after the job was done, we were given the chance to create an organized civilization, improve ourselves and become an extension of their colony. We have done nothing so far. Other than killing each other and create a false system based on a monetary unit, we are far away from a civilized united civilization. Even more, the worst is yet to come; our current global conflicts will lead us to self destruction, and that's where the book of revelation, the apocalypses and Armageddon comes to play. That they are coming back in those dark days, is a fact; why are they coming back? 2 options: to help us solve the problems, become a stable society and become part of the galactic federation, or to put us again as slaves with a different purpose. Since we don't know, that's one of the reasons the Illuminati and The New World Order exist.
