As far as birth, the only logical scientific argument that I think can be made is this:

I've heard that the fetus is w/o sex for the first few weeks...it then gets a dose of hormones (test I think) and that determines M or F....seems reasonable that a fetus with a smaller dose of these hormones could be different.

You are very close to the explaination I've read.

It has nothing to do with the hormone levels that they might have post puberty it is whether or not the brain is exposed to testoserone early in their growth.

This is not absolutly proven, but it is likely.

The friend I mentioned in a previous post is not in a relationship. He has not had a man in 5 yrs or more, yet he still categorizes himself as gay. Being gay is not about sex. His family knew from when he was quite young that he was different. Not all gay people like anal sex.
Fetuses(fetii?) start developing as female, then some change into male. I would surmise that this juncture is where any sexual orientation or transgender issues are originated.

I'm not a scientist...but I guess whatever makes me hetro...take the opposite.

Define Natural.
If you mean as in nature, then nature is rife with animals that are homosexual or bisexual.
If you mean not as God intended, then if the root cause is genetic it would seem that God did indeed intend it, for how can we select something for our fetus if we cannot even define it yet?
It's a tough question to get your head around, especially for people who have been indoctrinated by society to abhor it. I believe that's why all these people are turning gay. They've been gay all their lives, but are just deciding, "fuck it, I wanna be who I am."

I guess by natural, I meant in the sense of nature. Homosexually CAN'T be natural since it goes against those very laws. Procreation....Male + Female = offspring.

And while its true that many, many animals commit homosexual/bisexual acts...it must be considered a sign of perversion...they simply want to 'get off'.

I can't believe that animals are emotional in the same way as humans...caring, loving, understanding are not reasons for two male monkey's humping. Not only that, but in nature, rape is really what's happening...as the dominent animal 'gets off' and leaves..

In the end, I think comparing humans to animals for this topic is really comparing apples and oranges...

The only people who care are straight people. Every gay person I've ever known didn't care why they were gay anymore than I care why I'm straight. That or dumbasses who think they might get gay germs. Live and let live; is it really so frickin hard?

Here is my opinion. I think gays have a leaning towards the opposite sex just as an alcoholic has a leaning towards liquor or a coke head has a leaning towards coke. I think if they never try it they won't have the burning desire to try it again. Now, once they do try it they get addicted to it and have a hard time quiting it. For me, I don't know how anyone could be attracted to men including women. If I was a chick, I would probably be a lezbo. Chicks are sooo much better lookin than dudes and less hairy and are softer and prettier heck I better stop talk'n about this or I am going to go home for lunch to have the ole lady for lunch.
