You don't have to read strongChick's informative posts, you are free to scroll on past them.

But something in her posts, draws you back to her time and time again....Her thread counts are usually tremendously high.

1) her threads are "informative" that is very subjective. who decides if ones posts are informative or not? And who is to say that is a critereon for not being banned.

2) post counts tremendously high............as I recall BOS's weren't too shaby.

I am curious to know what the process of banning is.

Is some kinda tribunal conducted by the moderators? Is it on the basis of complaints? Is the person given warnings first? I really do not understand why some conspicuosly hateful posters remain while others are banned. I'm just curious.

In the meantime....It's quite a stretch to compare BOS's ad hominem attacks to Strongchick's provocative posts about ideas and political matters. Asking if the race of an apparent traitor partly explains the tolerance with which he's being treated is a far cry from calling someone racial epithets.

My theory is that the reason some "conspicuosly hateful posters" remain is that we simply have too many to ban all of them without excessive complaints.
I agree about Strongchick. I am quite different politically yet I find her posts and threads to be of the highest caliber quite often. Good thing I missed her observations about Sept. 11th. Don't think I could have ignored what I hear she said.
