My back workout looks like this:
SLDL
Lateral Pull Down
Seated Rows
Dumbell Rowing
Close Grip Pull Down
All for 4 sets each pyramiding through 12,10,8,6 reps as I up the weight. The last exercise in the group is usually quite light to get a good pump so I stick to 10 reps for that one.
Is this too much?I have been following this for two years and cycle on and off with AAS.Is this too much even when I am using AAS?
My back strength does not seem to improve very much and it is one of my strength weaknesses BUT visually my back is STACKED with good thick muscle and is very broad and deep.I have had a couple of (male) training partners who are not as experienced as I am and I can lift much heavier on leg/chest/arms sessions but on the back workouts they will always lift heavier or the same. It's embarrassing.
My performance doesn't match up with the muscle development.Does anyone have any ideas why this is?Any ideas?
