Introduce yourself

Hello all. My name is Eddy and I just turned 22. Ive been lifting on and off four about 5 years- (4 of those years w/ no plan or goal in mind :( ) I lift now for fitness and health but my goal is strength/sports improvement. I plan on getting back into the amateur boxing scene and seeing how far I can go- Nationals,Olympics, etc. Lifting is a staple of my training and I think this is a great forum to interact w/ like-minded persons.

I'm 5'10 165ish with a LOW bf%. I'll be competing in boxing at the 152 weight class. Although I don't ever max here are some of my lifts

DL- 345 x3
SQUAT- 295x2 ass to floor
FLAT BENCH- 210x4

Take care everyone

Hey everyone, I'm Patrick. I'm 17 years old and from Kentucky. I took a weightlifting class my junior year of highschool (senior now) and would really like to get more serious about lifting. I'm really weak, and not in very good shape..which is even more reason to go hard at this. I'd like to stay as natural as possible, with just protein shakes, tons of food, and maybe some creatine down the road. I have no upper body strength, it's all in my legs and I guess my numbers are good for my size..lol, I'll post the stuff I'm proud of. I'm 5'11" and weight right under 160.
Chest-36 1/4"
Biceps-12 1/4" cold/flexed
Thighs-23" cold/flexed
Calfs-14 1/4" cold/flexed
Squat-275x1
Bench-125x3
Leg Extensions-195x17

welcome sport, staying natural was the smartest things you said!!!

Good luck to you, soak up all the info you can in here, and ask all the questions you can think of, just make sure you do a little research before you ask!

Hi everyone name is Trent, am an aussie uni student turning 20 soon. Was previously into training but life got hectic and I started making excuses to not train often or hard enough. Weigh in about 80 kg's and 6"2, am wanting to get into rock climbing and the related training so that I am strong in comparison to my weight if that makes any sense. This means clean bulking and serious cardio cutting cycles I guess but that's why I'm here!

welcome trez, and your right you'll learn alot here, and get alot of good pointers, from people that have done it all!!

good luck bro

Peace

I'm 26, 5-5 125lbs. My goals are simple: gain Xlbs lean muscle mass and increase my strength by XX% by the end of the year. I'm well on my way to achieving my goals, given that I don't get injured in the meantime (as I am also playing ice hockey). I have a PR on my squats right around the corner. I can't wait to kill that shit. ;)

Hey... this is my first post :)

My names James... I live in England and I was born in London, but now im at Manchester University studying Philosophy.

I have been training, coming up to 1 year 6 months in December, but only seriously for about 6 months. Its been tricky recently, as moving to the otherside of the country I left my gym and had to find another one (which has just built a fantastic free weights area which opens on Wednesday) - and unfortunetly have been stuck on machines for the last 6 weeks.

Im 19, 5'8, 65kg. Im currently squating 150kg and benching 80kg. I am completely natural no supps, no roids. I have made it my mission to learn everything I can about the sport, and any input will be greatly appreciated.

My goals are to gain a body that I am happy with, to bench 120kg and squat 200kg... for now.

See you on the boards.
Yours in training.
James

newbie to the board, just turned 27, been lifting since I've been about 16 years old off and on between injuries, knee surgery and such like everyone else faces. I weigh in anywhere from 205-220 depending on what I'm trying to do.

Right now I'd like to just try and put some lean mass on and trim up what I have, it's been a long time since I've been lean and big all at the same time.
