Several months ago I was doing squats and felt a weird pain in my right glute. The pain is deep, not on my outer glute, but inside it. I iced it and avoided doing anything to aggrevate it. After a few days, the pain went away and it just felt a little tight. My massage therapist has been working on loosening it up, but other than that I've hardly noticed any pain.
Today I messed it up again - doing single-leg leg presses. Now it hurts to walk. I'm going to do ice therapy. Any other suggestions? When I first injured it, I wasn't even going heavy. There must be a weak link somewhere. Any other muscle imbalances that might contribute to this? Thanks!
