Unless I was a total fat ass, do you think it is okay to shoot the glute with a 1" pin? I ordered from P'n'P and didn't realize they were only one inch. I hate to shoot my quads although they are virtually fat free. Maybe that is why -- I can see the veins and the muscle. But I am afraid I might inject oil into the fat on my ass. I'm 5' 11" and approx 210-215 lbs and I assume bf 15% or less. Is there any way the fat on my ass is one inch thick? I can see the muscle flex on my ass but there is still fat under the skin. It is just that the 1" pin looks short -- like it might be JUST long enough. Unless someone can shed some light I will start shooting the quad. But if I aspirate and the syringe fills with blood, I know I wont be able to stick the quad again. Help. The last resort I will order 1 1/2" pins.

I personally use 1 1/2s on glutes and quads, but I don't bury it all the way i leave about 1/4 of an inch out. I think if you were to bury the pin mostly you'd be fine in the glute and the quad. Seems like now that I'm on week 8 of 10 everytime i asperate i get blood in the syringe in the quad, I'm to the point where it really doesn't even matter as stupid as it may sound.

1.5" pin

I've heard you can get away w/ a 1" pin in the glute if you are real low bf. But why? I'm 5'7 and about 180 right now. I can tell you that I have a really LOW bf%, and I can still EASILY take a 1.5" pin. Why risk it! - josh

i use 5/8 inch in the quads, work just fine. 1 inch will probably work in the glutes. just jam it all the way in. If it injects into the fat, you will know, it hurts like hell, i did it once, i don't inject into glutes anymore. quads are the easiest since i do it myself.

You should be fine bro, besides you can tell when the pin hits the muscle (at-least I can) If you dont think it deep enough, reorder form gpns, it only takes a couple of days to get there.
