IN PAIN - will AS relieve?

I know AS plays a role in muscle recovery after the stress of lifting.

How about joint support?

My hips haven't been bothering me much, but now that I'm lifting again, my right shoulder is really killing me again. My Physical Therapist took a look at it & said it was inflammed. I had done bis & tris the day before.

Still searching for that love of lifting... I honestly forget what that "Good Pain" feels like.

If there's a chance AS can help my recovery - then I want to try it.

No, I'm not certain it's joint and not muscle, but I plan to ask her to take more of a look at it tonight. I do think initially she said she thought it was joint.

Did legs for the first time in ages on Tue & I'm SOORE! But it definitely feels more muscle & not hip joint soreness, so that's good. Although it's hard to tell for sure since I'm sore EVERYWHERE from bellybutton down to knees! :lmao:

I hear you on that one! I did box squats for the first time (ever) on Tuesday and I'm STILL in agony! :leap: I love it! :mix: Why EVERYONE isn't adicted to lifting, I don't know!

P.S. you don't need AAS.

YES! But on the other hand, I kinda like not having to share the weight room with too many folks! ;) But methinks that will change come January - resolutions and all...

Glads, my doc suggested 2 Aleve (not 1) twice a day (AM/PM) when joint pain flares up. That's the prescription strength. It works like a charm. Just make sure it's joint pain and not something else.

I never saw so many people in the gym as I did the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Thankfully, they were all on the machines and left the weights to me!

PT poked around a little more, her diagnosis: Bicep tendon! YEEAAH! :D She said ice & massage, but the joint seems fine.

Nope, I NEVER do calf raises. Mine are pretty big & pretty hard.

Alrighty, no AS for me, I think I'll be alright!

To answer your question, AS will NOT ressolve the problem. Back off your weights a bit and let your body catch up. Decca or dbol may help with the pain, but do you really want to start having to shave at this point in your life? Your face, I mean.

Be patient and do what is good for your body. The only substance that I see making a positive contribution here is growth hormone, other than the usual glucosamine and ibuprophen one would take in this situation.

Remember, when the Eastern European female weightlifters using anabolic steroids first appeared in the World Olympics, they had to be medically examined (the doc had to look up their skirts) because they had taken on so many male characteristics. This was the result of steroid use, namely the afore mentioned decca and dbol.

Non-aromatizing steroids like winstrol, fina, or ox will only make joint injury WORSE

Since you don't have joint injury this is really a non issue but...
from experience there is NOTHING better for joint related pain than deca. It will NOT turn you into a guy at low doses and certainly not at the doses needed for joint relief only. That is not to say that there aren't some down sides to it IMO.
