what are impact carbs. Does it have anything to do with GI????

i had a DETOUR bar over the weekend and could not believe the taste:

Impact carbs don't elicit a respose in blood sugar, however, they will reglycogenate the liver and muscles, and kick you out of ketosis if that's what you're aiming for. Just be aware of that.

I continue to be baffled at anyone's ability to eat only one Detour bar.

I AM IN BIG TROUBLE - the deli below my office is getting an order of DETOUR bars this week...

I used to have to walk to gnc to get them - now i only have to go downstairs... THEY ARE SOOOOOOO GOOD...

so if your on a Ketogenic diet you count the over all carbs? not just the impact carbs?
