Imagine There Was No Techno Music???

Techno isn't for me, but I'd listen to it over country any day.

I would rather poke my eyes out than to listen to country!

It appears we have exactly one thing in common. I want to jam car keys under my fingernails & set myself on fire when I hear country.

country is fuckin horrible i would rather fuck bluetas transgender friend then listen to country

I can't stand country either, i would rather listen to white noise on the radio.

But I don't bash it, I try to appreciate music for what it is and those to make it/enjoy it.

hank sr is a gangsta

The "red state" glurge that passes for country these days is utter tripe. But roots country stuff from the 1930s through the late 1960s can be pretty cool. In addition to Hank Sr. there's Faron Young and Lefty Frizzell, and a whole lot of other really cool old performers and songs. But you have to sort through a lot of sentimental crap to find the good stuff sometimes.

And there's stuff that's hard to tell whether it was country, blues, or early rock & roll, like The Everly Brothers or Johnny Burnette & The Rock & Roll Trio or Roy Orbison. Or early Johnny Cash.
