Thaibox, I've been reading your posts here ... I think it's always difficult to accept change. In your case, though, you need your surgeries to become better and they are just temporary setbacks...keyword is temporary.
Let me tell you this..my hubby had 2 surgeries on his back because he had hematomas which at the time were believed to be malignant. Fortunately, they were benign, but it took the wind out of husband's sail for a very long time. He's been training since he was in his teens and this was a difficult time, especially for someone like him who trained hard just like you. It took time for him to heal (almost 2 years), but he has made a full recovery and has been making phenomenal gains, especially in regards to strength.
I, too, believe things happen for a reason. Maybe this situation will not only make you stronger physically, but also mentally. I'm glad to read that you don't plan on quitting entirely. Remember this is just temporary. Good luck!
