I read something to that effect almost everyday on the internet. It always makes me laugh when I see it. As if having a person in your social circle who you get along with and is black, Mexican, Indian, Chinese, white, Bushmen, Martian, whatever absolves you from proceeding to blast that specific race.

So I'll spare myself the embarrassment of making that statement while I tell this story. I dislike people with no class, regardless of race.

Last Friday night I saw a brother get tossed out of a bar I was in. I've been going to this particular bar for a few years now. As far as clientele goes, it's mostly people in their mid 20s up to 40s - all races. It's in a decent part of town and have never seen a fight there.

So I'm sitting pretty close to the door yapping with a buddy of mine about something, when I hear this brother behind me getting into a heated argument with the bouncer(also a brother, huge guy). I hear something about "that white bitch" and can't really make out the rest of it. But half the bar is staring at this guy making a scene. After a minute or two of yelling, the bouncer gets this guy to leave. I found out later that what happened was that the guy came into the bar, ordered a glass of water and half a glass of sugar. He then took the entire containers of limes and cherries with him to the upstairs where he ate every single one of them. On his way out of the bar, the bartender(Heather, "that white bitch") handed him a tab for $6 to pay for all the condiments he helped himself to. That was when he started to throw a fit.

Any person could've done this, it pissed me off when he started calling her a white bitch to the bartender. As if her race had anything to do with calling his cheap ass out on trying to get a free ride. Everyone's done something like this at some point in their lives. You expect a 16 year old to roll into a Mexican restaurant, order water and then eat chips and salsa for three days straight. But this was a full grown adult pulling it. classy.

(im fucked up, drunk!!!) me and my buddy are talking to thies girls about to go to an after hours spot with them when thies guy walk up and they are drunk and acting ignorant. the guy walks up i told the guy to get lost and he persist to go "your a big dude!!" and grabs my arm squeezing
it!!!! im a touch freak guys!! dont touch me unless i know your name!!

so i grabbed the guy by his neck and pushed him saying "dont ever touch me"

the guy leaves comes back and throws a bottle at me....

Sometimes, the "best thing" you can do is stand there, blow it off, and walk away.

People nowadays have this perception going on in the movies, and preaching to kids about, fighting for this that and the other thing. If you don't you are a pussy/ect... Well I don't personally believe that. I am not a fighter, not a wimp by any means, but saying it would take a lot for me to get into a fistfight nowadays. Especially when I am with my girl all the time, dress nice, and don't like the attention you get from being a violent person, after the fight.

Let me explain:
I'm 28, a fairly big guy from my frame stats, and can handle myself decently enough, as the next guy, if situation came to that extent.(I almost never, ever let that happen) I don't consider myself at all less of a man for it, as well.
Being quick to fight, and trying to become involved with law enforcement don't go hand and hand. be very careful. You may get away with now, or "think" you are, but be careful. I have a lot of friends already in law enforcement, and family, and have seen it get to their heads, and them get into troubles because of it. You may get away with it now by with bouncing as a cover/aliby, but eventually you may need to tone down some, because sometimes that will not even save you. Especially now. A situation gets too hot, and before you know it, you are in jail, asking yourself "What happned?" Having a quick to fight/ solve everything about everything attitude with my fist, attitude, "especially if you are a big dude" works against you, and can land you with big trouble. Big troubles with the law (ie: police record) Seriously, don't think you have to fight all the time. every comment made at you, you let go,...you are being a pussy. You aren't. When you get to that point, where you can care less what others say, and can laugh, blow off, and can vision what fighting can really mess you up, before you consider throwing a punch, you have really helped yourself.
don't get me wrong, I believe in fighting sometimes, (if my girl was touched, or abused, after I had been touched after warnings, ect...) But in those few "rare" occasions I desperately try to stay away and avoid it by all costs. I have a very bad temper, and would love to flip and "Van Dammne" the guy, buy stay away as much as possible, and avoid fights.

Not to say at all guys who are younger fight more, are immature, or act a certain way when it comes to fighting,...Not true,..." But," I am saying, just as one gets older, older guys don't seem to fight as much. I believe it does take time to delelop patience, and you have to go through, experience, and/or realize what eventually will or can happen is very real. It will eventually mess you up, and catch up to you. I hope I helped some.
