Hey guys...don't want to go into all the details here so I will get straight to the point.
1. The first time around that I was seriously lifting, I was younger and recovered a whale of a lot quicker. Now my body does not want to bounce back as fast. I can only lift on MWF but feel my body likes 36-48 hours of recovery time. Since I can't fit that in, what do you guys use, over the counter, that speeds recovery? It's been a while since I really looked into this and want to side step any polished BS from companies that just want to sell their wares.
2. This time around I have to shave off a lot of fat, due to a serious back injury and some life changing events that I handled improperly. Also I am trying to build up my endurance for my future employment. I don't want to be just a strong man, but a strong man that lasts all day. Therefore I am training for endurance and strength. This works well with my goals to loose fat. To make a long question even longer, I am type 2 diabetic and have to watch my carbs, but I find that if I don't carb up before a workout that I am really flat 15 minutes into it. What are some good food-bars that are not loaded with simple sugars?
Ok..that's all for now and any help will be appreciated.
Thanks,
MJ
