Right now, I've got about 12" arms unflexed - blahness.
Two days only now, but been eating everything - soon the cabinents will be empty and I won't have food thus fucking up my bulking haha.

Anyway, I wanted to ask... figuring I bulk for let's say 6 months using DC, obviously no one can give exact numbers or whatever, but how much size could I potentially put on my arms (being natural, weighing 170 and being 16, eating about 20xBW in cals)?

I want to hit 16" - is it reasonable to go 4" on arms in 6 months of bulking?

What would be the highest pretty much possible to reach for arm size in inches in that time frame?

no.

it takes a lot more than that.

I cant remember the figures......but it figured out to be 10lbs of clean lean muscle mass added to the whole body would equate to about an 1 inch on the arms.

SOMEBODY CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG.

so you would have to gain about 40lbs....of clean lean muscle.....not that easy. minus the water, and the fat, gaining 40lbs will take a while

Living by the tape will drive you mad! Just lift, eat and be happy that you are progressing your overall lean body mass. A 4" increase is asking a lot of yourself.

However, by all means give it a go, good luck! :)

man if you trained consistantly even just normal regular sets not to failure, you should see a nice 1-2 inch gain at least in your first year.

I know I did :)

4" in 6 months......I think not.....

endpoint is about on target....40 lbs of muscle (depending on how tall you are)

I am 220, 6 foot 1 and have 16 1/4 " arms

be patient, at 16 yrs old, you have plenty of time to eat and grow.

Definitely depends on your height. I am right there with you though bro. Mine are only 13" cold unflexed :(. But a year or so ago they were 11" and I only recently started eating a lot, so there's hope.

The very first person to take me in the gym and actually start teaching me the science of bodybuilding said something interesting on our very first day. We were walking down the stairs into the gym... passed a mirror... and he said, "The mirror is your enemy." He talked about how bodybuilders sometimes get in the habit of looking at themselves every day... micro analyzing... waiting minute by minute for change.

Ignore the meassuring tape for the next two years. Eat lots... lift heavy.
