First off...thanks to everyone here who has been such an inspiration to me as I secretly read what is going on w/o giving much input. I am ATTEMPTING to train for my first figure competition in June. I am a freak in the gym and w/ cardio...no problems there. I am having the hardest f'ing time w/ my diet. Three kids, a husband who competes also (our diets are currently NOT helping each other in any way), and a shit load of emotional stress b/c of the husband is giving me gas. Nearly every body part is on target, except about one inch below my navel. My weight at last delivery was 208-had a c-section, now I have what looks like a smiley face in my pants. Seriously. The skin is so tight from the incision, it has made a sort of "lip". Fortunately, the 2 piece suits will cover it, but I'm so worried about the excess skin. Any suggestions, or should I just get this over with and go to Sonic? This last week, emotionally, has been horrible-and I have slacked quite a bit on my diet. I not only am not eating enough, but what I am eating isn't that great (mostly cereal). UGH...

Wow! Comp prep is definitely challenging to fit into your life. And you are literally training 24/7 between diet, training, recovery & meal prep.. and then just the rest of life. And that's just for you!

Are there other shows further out that are options? It's still early in the season!

I know that there are other shows out there. Since it's my first-I wanted something local so I wouldn't have the expense of travel/hotel...so the shows in DFW are limited. I think I just need to chill. My whole family has been sick which has really put a strain on everything. Sorry to vent-I'm just having a hard time. Ya know when you look in the mirror and think "I need to work on that, that, and that". Everyone else is filling me w/ their 2 cents. Hopefully this weekend will bring a positive spin. Thanks.

depends on what you bf is in terms of when the show is

Current stats will determine the feasibility of a show date, but obviously your ability to make it through the required training has to be weighed against the stress of hitting that show date.

This is why I always suggest, esp to newbies, to look for a back-up date for a competition so you don't destroy yourself with stress feeling like you absolutely have to hit that date or you are a complete loser.

Your body determines your show date, Not your show date, your body.

Thanks everyone, for the advice. I am only able to get online when my 2 y/o is napping, therefore-I am not a daily reader. I really think I may have messed myself up w/ hgh/T3. I am eating about 90-95% clean and have not dropped one lb. in 3 weeks. I normally would have dropped 20 lbs. w/ this diet and cardio mix. I see no weight loss, therefore I train harder...now I think I'm just physically exhausted. Any suggestions about rebounding from this hgh/T3 thing? I am currently tapering off T3 (@12.5 today and tomorrow, then I'm done). Also, does everyone here recommend the 2 on 2 off Clen cycle? One competitor friend of mine said to take it 3 days on, 3 days off, 3 on, 2 off...so your body doesn't get used to it (?!?!?!). BTW...My freaking out emotionally was due in part to quitting coffee and forgetting my Zoloft for 4 days. I'm doing better now! :p

There are 2 std approaches to clen cycling - 2 days on / 2 off or 2 weeks on / 2 off. Generally the 2-3 days on & then off doesn't really give you enough time to clear your receptors. The 2 weeks on allows you to basically saturate your receptors and then give them 2 weeks to clear out. During that off time you can take another thermo like Thermorexin or whatever - these act on different receptors than what clen does so you are still getting the thermo kick but letting the clen receptors recover for the next round.

When you talk about losing weight -- has your bodyfat changed during this time (i.e. losing bodyfat but preserving muscle)? I've dropped around 7% bodyfat since New YEars but my weight has only fluctuated about 2 lbs.

Just wanna say stay positive no matter what!
I know how you feel, I have 3 kiddos as well and with them, their father, and college its tough but stay strong and be tough, be a good role model for those kiddos of yours,
it will all pay off.

BF has dropped slightly. I'm at 16.7 /139. I have NEVER had this difficult of time losing weight in the past. I have gained a tremendous amount of muscle since I started training for this competition and realize that will account for a bit of the weight-but GEEZ!!! Do you think it is the hgh T3 combo? My husband really only knows about how it worked w/ him-so he is no help. Also, as far as a thermogenic...we have a lot of ephedrine (should I be saying that?). What do you guys think of the basic eca stack? Am I behind the times? All I am hearing about is T-Rex. Any and all help is SOOOOO appreciated!
