I just tore my shirt sleave...!

I try to keep measurements and lift numbers off the boards. I really believe we are all equal... just at different points in our development.

Besides, here I don't think it was a matter of my arms being so huge. It was that my shirt was too small. :)

Thats some amazing progress! I wish you would have taken before pics too. It's always so amazing to see a huge transformation like yours.

When I started I was 144.5lbs at 6'2. I am now nearly 6'4, and 252ish. Although after a layoff from injury, not as hard as I'd like to be :( But stories like yours get me fueled to get back into it full force!

I wish I took more before pics, but I have very few. I was a human pencil, and ashamed of my body. I rarely let people take pics of me, unless I was wearing a jacket, or bulky sweater! Now I wish I had taken some. Go figure!

Its posts like these that give me hope. I'm 6'3" and 171.8 lbs as of Friday. At Christmas I weight 154 lbs. When I graduated high school I weighed around 140 lbs.

I borrowed my mom's camera this weekend to take pics. I wish I would have taken pic's at christmas time to compare too.

BTW, very nice sofa george.

Bro, I started out just like you... 6'2" and 150 lbs. When I hit 170 lbs it was momentus. I remember getting up to 176 lbs and considering myself "buff" for the fist time in my life. When I hit 186 lbs I thought I was huge... couldn't get any bigger. :)

These boards are so inspirational... I am 6'3" also and weighed around 145 at high school graduation. After lifting some on college I have been stuck at around 170 for like 3 years. I'm just now seriously trying to gain weight again - my goal is 180 by July 1st. Luckily I have some pics from high school, when I was a cross country runner - so so skinny. If I ever get big I'll post em.

you've helped me to impress the hell out of a couple 5 year olds. :lmao:

10 bucks say they both grow up to lift weights and get big. impressions like that stay with kids and shape their adult lives. i grew up reading comic books and actually met lou ferrigno as a kid.....now i train people and working out is a part of my life. go figure.

I actually feel pretty good about the way I look now. I know I can get bigger, but just the differences I see now. Its amazing how a little bit of a change can make you feel better about yourself. Cant wait until I am up to 225 or so lean.

I know a couple of us that are in the same boat, backlash and red dragon. I dont think I can explain how much of an inspiration this board has been. Although I hate you guys when I am choking down meal #7 for the day and think I am going to puke:p

You may actually find there is such a thing as too big. I took myself up to the 240-250lbs range... then brought myself back to my current 225lbs by choice. 250lbs is just too big. I could happily drop to 200-205lbs and feel just as good.

Are you hitting 5x5 for your training? One of the things I wish I had when I was just getting started was more knowledge of good routines. 5x5 would have been a Godsend back then.
