I finally figured out how to get those abs!!

They are really starting to come through finally!! I figured out the secret. After recently finishing a cutting diet, and still
not digging the ab results, I now know.
MORE FAT!!!! A bud of mine recently told me
"Dude, You gotta be taken in MORE EFA's!"
He told me to take fish oil caps! Also, Da Big Thinker told me to try "THE ZONE" diet,
since it works REALLY well for him. I have been out of the gym for a few weeks (again)
with some serious sinus problems, so I had
to resort to useing my EMS unit. Anyways, about 2 weeks ago, I started taking fish oil caps (6000 grams a day). I am also taking in some flax (YUK) and some olive oil. I really
noticed results yesterday, and this morning,
BAM!..there coming out!! More fat!!!
 
I swear by my EFA's! Got to have some fat to burn fat. I think they also help as an appetite suppressant. Just be sure to account for their fat and calories in your dietary total.

gUlie - you said "YUK" about your Flaxseed oil. It could be that your batch is rancid. It must be refrigerated and doesn't keep very long. Normally it is sort of nutty, but never bitter or real strong taste. (Or maybe you just don't like it - that's OK - just didn't want you trying to choke down any rancid flax!)

Personally, I hate the fish oil caps - always gave me fishy burps :o - yuk
 
FitFossil, I think the Flax was bad. It made
me sick as a dog!! I am going to try some
from the protein factory though. Man, I am
with ya on those fishy burps! Nasty shit!!
I HATE fish, so it's even worse for me.
 
I been on CKD for almost 3 weeks now.Eating 80% fat/20% protein/0 carbs/500 below maintanence calorie intake.It really works.My abs are looking good(6 pack almost there).I have maintained all my lean mass almost.I do hardcore weight training even though I have no carbs in me.This helps keep the lean mass.My carb cravings are gone.I do get a little moody sometimes but i like the way i look and i plan on staying on CKD all summer.I can gain small amounts of lean mass while losing all my bodyfat.Right now im about 11% but in 6 weeks i think ill be down below 8 for sure.Around September Ill go back to bulking which I love.
 
BigAndy, I was basically getting my fats from
Peanut butter. Although these are though of
as "good fats", I still wasn't taking in
enough. I also ate quite a bit of beef, but
that was only on occasion. As for the EMS unit, I have been away from the gym due to
sinus infection (again) but feel like I am ready to start hittin it hard! This is more or less my first (serious) week back. Since
I have been using the EMS unit, I feel it
has really helped my abs progress. I also
feel I didn't lose too much being away from
the gym. As for the operation, I am going to
put it off until after the summer, I think.
This summer has to be my comeback! I don't
feel like wasting my deca/winnie/ana by
waiting until after summer to start it! I used the ems unit yesterday after a killer
bi/shoulder workout, and I can REALLY feel it
in my arms. I blasted my bi's for a half hour
right after I came home from the gym. FOr me,
this unit is the shit!!
 
U wont like the flax from the proteinfactory.com.

I've bought their flax oil for about three months now, it still and will taste like shit (along with all of their products).

But oil is oil, I suppose. How can there be a tasty oil? I dont know, i doubt oil can taste like um...vanilla.
 
Heday, To tell you the truth, I am a little
skeptical of Protien Factory. I remember
the guy who own/runs it (Alex-Sawboy) way
back when trying to convince people to buy
soy protein from him. This was way before
Protein fatory existed. Thanks for the heads
up on the flax.
 
if your diet(cals) consist in more than 10% of fat cals, the carbs you consume arent stored as fat. this was taken form a biochemestry book. there are like 10 chapters about metabolism of lipids.
 
Ok I have seen all the posts on fat eating fat. what would be some practical applications on this stuff. what type and how much.........thanks
 
subsitute the most of ur carbs with fats (good ones espcially but bad fats works as well) but still you have to lower your total cals. the more cals that come from fat the better your burning fat process become. carbs glucose will be used for other energy needs instead of storing and muscular. the more fats you consume also would put you more in a ketogenic way. keto is the best for burnig fat process but ketones produce ketosis that could be fatal in just weeks of abscense of carbs. be careful.
poly fats: flax seed oil, sunflower seed oil, cotton seed oil, fish oil.
monosatured: olive, canola, etc.
the more you eat of this ones the better.
 
I had the same problem.

Was eating less than 40g of fat/day at 180lbs.

nothing happened. Then added Flax, peanut butter and whamo instant abs!!

its crazy how everyone wants abs and everyone is training right...

who would have known that all you have to do is add some fat!
 
man I think the the stuff from P.factory tastes great, better tasting than designer P.
