Hi all!! I'm back from my trip!! Went to Charleston, SC from Tues thru Fri.....hubby had a business trip, so I went along. Wasn't sure if I wanted to go or not cuz there was some question about me being included in the festivities. BUT -- I brought my name tag from last year, which was the same as this year -- so no probs getting in.

It was a slug fest -- Thurs. nite we stayed up till 4am drinking. Well, it was a HUGE celebration cuz the team from my hubby's office won the tournament. It's a work-based Jeapordy game. Last year they came in 4th -- this year WON!! So TONS of celebrating. I may have had alcohol poisoning! :worried:

Well, back to the diet & stuff tomorrow!!

Oh & I had a Chocolate Cake Body Scrub followed by a mini-massage while I was down there. OMG!! If anyone ever has a chance to get something like that -- DO IT!!!

I'm glad the trip worked out for you! It sounds like you really tore the place up! And yes, those vacation massages are truly out of this world. I had the most amazing massage work done at the Stratosphere hotel in Vegas (Is that the really tall one??) This guy used hot stones & also had this water bag thing that he put heated water into like a hot pad, but then you lay on your back and the water allows him to do all his back work from underneath! Pretty amazing!

Welcome back!

party girl welcome to othe club lol!

another lush to add to the list Trilin

Hell, I'm an old school lush.........

I used to drink a 2 liter bottle of wine cooler on the driveway up to my high school parking lot, then sit in the parking lot, drink the rest of it & get high.....

Sigh........memories from 17 years ago.....

OMG. Wine coolers. Let's go back a little further to the pre-Bartles & Jaymes era that me & my friends lovingly refer to as the TJ Swan Era.

Imagine if you will.... 1984. Winter in N. Minnesota, -20F. We can't drink in MN but we can in Wisconsin because the drinking age hadn't changed from 18 yet. A bunch of my friends and I pile into my dad's HOT :rolleyes" Mustang II. Everyone has $3. $1 for gas, $1 to get into the club and $1 to kick in on a bottle of TJ Swan ... similar to Mad Dog 2020.

We sit in the car in the parking lot of "The Cove" & chug the TJ while the windows steam up. Then we take our jackets off & mad dash to the club. $1 cover, then go in and dance the night away.

At closing, around 2:30 am, we pile back into the car, waiting for the vinyl seats to thaw out, drive back home and I usually managed to back into a snow bank trying to get up and back out of one girl's driveway.

Ahhhh the memories. I'm so glad I moved south and can afford better stuff now.

^^ LOL

The drinking age changed to 21 while I was still an early teen...... Boy was I disappointed!!

Remember the Orange juice-Vodka combo you could buy in a bottle?? :worried: That stuff was nasty!! We chugged it tho..... LOL They now make MadDog in a Banana-Watermelon Flavor.....I've seen it in the liquor store....Yuck!!

It sounds like you had a fun time Jenscat!

Ahhh the memories of drinking when you were too young and/or broke to get good stuff. The days of drinking whatever you could get your hands on. Maybe rum and tang sounded better back then. Or everclear and dr pepper. Yuck. lol

It's funny to drink now when you're really not as used to it. It's easy to forget that tolerance drops.

A chocolate cake massage sounds amazing!

I grews up in Northern Minnesota. Crookston - about 2 hours from the Canadian border and 1/2 hour from the ND border. Are you from this area?
