Cut down on the arimidex to 1/4 pill 2X a week. You dont want to drive down estrogen to low as this can lead to bone and cholesterol problems. Wait a few weeks to retest as it takes 6 weeks to stabilize. Also your estrogen test may be wrong. Request ultra-sensitive from quest. 1117 is a little high but nothing to worry about short term.

Last time he had PSA (within 12 months) that was fine. Cholesterol is borderline high (but we're trying to tweak his diet), blood pressure has been borderline high since I've known him and he's on Avapro for it.

Here's the new plan, we're sticking with the 100 mg once a week (instead of 200 mg every two weeks), and his Arimidex is 0.5 mg twice a week (I can't cut the pills any smaller, they disintegrate and that shit ain't cheap). He sees the doc end of next month, we'll see what the numbers look like then.

I had the same problem so I got a good quality pill cutter. It was a freebee from my HMO.

absolutely. . .i'm on 200 eow and no estro inhibitor and all my levels are very good. . .my serum and free test are both high-normal, my lipids are ridiculously good (hdl is 120, ldl is 50), my psa is good and my bp was 120/68 the last two times they did it at the docs office (i also do it 3 or 4 times a week myself with one of those battery-op'ed desktop units. . .and it always gives me a smiley face )
