Lack of care and respect, autonomous life? What the fuck are you talking about? Where exactly did I say that I never tip? I'm simply stating that it is my choice.
Here's my tip for you, read and understand before making assumptions.
Well I'm stating it is not simple personal choice when other people's lives are in the mix. Especially with an established social norm. Your simple choice has consequences... and there is societal pressure on your decision and people will judge you. Only someone with lack of care and respect would think their this decision is simply their choice and that's all the matters. The way you state your opinion to me it sounds like you think it is an autonomous decision. Meaning your making your choice independent of outside variables, specifically other people's opinions and lives. Your wrong to make your decision like this.
I never said you didn't tip and I never said not tipping is wrong... the way you are thinking is wrong. Not tipping can be the right decision under certain circumstances.
What didn't I understand?

Tipping has absolutely nothing to do with culture and tradition it's a personal choice.
Wrong. Tipping is our social norm and people will spit in your face for ignoring it for no valid reason.

The price includes service, if you feel you would like to give more then that's up to you.
This sounds completely wrong but I do not own a restaurant. Do you? Let's ask Dull Boy if he includes service in the the price or just pays his servers the lowest wage possible. Servers expect to make money off the tips and compare their wage to other jobs with tips included.

I find it hilarious that some of you feel pressured and are expected to giving more than the bill total.
There is pressure from friends, the staff, and anyone who witnesses your decision. You are expected to make a valid decision based on the waitresses service. If you completely ignore the social norm most likely someone will say something.

The proprietors made the choice of pricing their menu, the waiters and staff made the choice to work knowing the rate of pay, the customer pays the bill total and tips as they see fit. Nowhere is there pressure on anyone to do something that they don't have to so don't give me horseshit about food cost and operating expenses.
Yeah and if the people don't tip in the area they will make the CHOICE not serve them and or they will discontinue working there. If the server is simply making minimum wage they could be working ANYWHERE and being a server is not the easiest minimum wage job. Then the restauraunt will have to make the CHOICE to change practices or go out of business. Ofcourse everyone makes a choice in all these cases but they are in no way free to do whatever they please. A choice has to be made... what is your point here? Once again it looks like you think your decision has no consequences... in fact you say it's horseshit to consider food costs and operating expenses when the employees will be making more or less money based on your decision and this in turn affects their decision of where to work and how much the employer pays them out of his pocket.

You're saying that a tip is expected if the patron would like good service? That defeats the whole purpose of a tip.
What are you talking about here? Once again you are saying it's your choice and you aren't considering what other people think or feel. Because it is a social norm to tip and the tip IS expected they will think their service was poor or that you were an asshole for not tipping. They will judge their service and how good their current job is based on their tips. How does a tip being expected defeat the purpose? If the tip wasn't expected your decision would be very unimportant. I worked at subway and the social norm is tipping is NOT expected. When I did get a tip I said "cool" and when I didn't it didn't matter because no tip is expected. This is not how it works in the restaurant industry...
Please enlighten me further-minus the profanity this time. It simply makes you look ignorant and is offensive...
