once a week directly, after bis, other exercises hit them anyway, so i think once is enough, some people dont train them at all

i am v.happy with there development seeing as they used to be so skinny

now they look great
 
Just started doing them twice to three times a week, seeing some results....my forearms used to be very skinny.
 
3x per week currently and already seeing positive results.Some people don't see the need in training them but I think the stronger your forearms and grip, the more beneficial it is towards doing exercises like chins and deadlifts where grip is a factor.Also, a pair of well developed forearms(read:massive) really gives that physically powerful look.Same for traps.People say that pecs and bis are the real beach muscles.Bullshit, it's traps and forearms.

never...i want my biceps to get bigger before i consider training forearms...when i start training them, it will likely be one day a week, or maybe 2...keeping sets low, probably 6 sets of 8:)
 
I used to about three times a week to get them bigger. But when they hit a good size I went to two times a week. A friend told me to go to once a week, "which I have" since with all the other lifting, it just adds to all the force on the wrists. Could cause injury later in life. I don't know if it will or not, but I'm not taking a chance. Whiskey
 
I dont know bro I would suggest training your forearms right from the start. I mean when your forearms start to become a lagging bodypart it can really take away from the rest of your physique which is definitely NOT what you want. Good luck.

If you do heavy deadlifting or juice, working out forearms is waste of time....



Just be holding heavy weight in your hands you work out forearms.

Yeah I know bro I do heavy deads on the same day that I do forearms.. both are great in my opinion for packing on size to your lower arms. Mine are lagging big time right now so hopefully farmer's walks etc. will bring them up to par.

once a week, i train them on back and bi day. My forearms are usually gorged to the max anyway so it works for me
 
I like to train them 2 times per week, really brings out definition. I'll only do 2 exercises with 2 sets for each, 6 to 8 reps. I also vary the exercise from workout to workout.
 
My forarms suck IMO and I have always trained them once a week. I will stick to that plan now but when I hit my next cycle I am gonna bump it up to 2-3 times a week to see if that helps

once in a blue moon. i have damn good forearms from carrying weights all day for other people. hehe. so...i dont need to hit them but every once in a while for shits and giggles.:D
