from the time I read my first flex magazine in high school I was interested in gear, I never thought I would do it, but I always read what I could on the topic. then in college I hooked up with a good bro who taught me most of what I needed to know and show me EF. I used when i was 21 years old so that gave me about 5 years of reading and debating the good from the bad.

First time i dod not do enough research. In my defence it was before the Internet was popular etc and the information was nowhere near as accesible.

After a break and renetering the game the internet had become popular and a wealth of information.

As evidence i have gained more in the last 3 years than i did in the first 10 through knowledge alone

I did a lot of reading for about 6 months. I asked a lot of questions, and then hooked up with a guy from the gym. He showed me my beginning steps, but nothing like the info from the bros here.

4 hours a day at least reading the boards.

In a most foolhearty fashion, I jumped into my first cycle without much research at all.. Maybe a week's worth... I'm very compulsive.. But I'd say that since then, I've done more than my share of the research..
