I'm 17 so is 5grams of prolab creatine enough for me. I usually take 1gram in the morning, and 3 grams before workout and 1 gram after workout. Does this sound good, or should I use more for better results???
Personally, I don't think there's really any need to split up a 5 gram dose into 3 smaller doses. A 5 gram dose is more or less the smallest dose someone would take. I'd just stick with taking the full 5 grams after you workout. Take it with some juice or mix it in with your protein. As long as you're getting it in there, than you shouldn't have anything to worry about.
1g? you do realize that most of the creatine does not get used, some of it turns to waste (creatinine). B/C of this i take a little more than 5g every time i take it. Somewhere b/w 7-10g b/c i know most of it wont be used. 1g or 3g is a complete waste IMO. Take the minimum of 5 at the minimum.
take it with meal or take it with carbs.. any time during the day is fine.. it wouldn't kill you to take a little more than the recommended dosage either..
bro general consensus is don't take less than the 5g, and if i were you i'd take that twice a day. And if you didn't load, it will take you much longer to see the effects of the creatine, and loading is like 20g/day for 5 days.
