how many of you ckd ppl take in post workout carbs?

I hear some people take in carbs in a PW shake on CKD, but I think that is rediculous. I would just slam Whey and water, it was a few grams of carbs, then go home and recover with a meal of Eggs and Fish Oil.

Aren't you sacrificing possible muscle gains by not eating any dextrose or high GI carbs post-workout?

Here is Part I, but the meat is in Part II...

i skimed it and he made no mention of ketosis, which is what your trying to maintain while doing ckd. Post workout carbs are beneficial for muscle growth, recovery etc, if your not doing a keto diet. Otherwise all those hamburger patties, bacon and mayo covered tuna meals wont mean jack shit if your PW shake knocks you out of ketosis

i guess the only way to tell is a blood glucose monitor
