I always inject into glutes and one time I felt like I had a blunt needle and thought maybe the blunt needle was the cause of me feeling like I was gonna pass out afterwards. Started sweating and felt really nauseated. Then figured it was bc I hit a vein. Not sure tho. Is this what that feels like? But now I aspirate.

I know sweating is a sign. And also coughing. Tren cough is the worst. My buddy hit a vein when injecting deca and coughed quite a bit. Not sure about nausea and the passing out feeling though

I always aspirate. It was super hard on my first delt pin especially since it's hard to get my right hab to my left shoulder, I started to jerk a little and was barely able to. I just said f it and pinned.

But would you know if you shot into a vein? Doesn't your liver just destroy it all?

I think its more likely go through a tiny vein in the glutes than directly into it. IV is hard to do when you;re looking to do it. Injecting completely into a vien is VERY unlikely. Not sure what the consequences would be. A quicker breakdown I presume. I never heard of anyone dying from IVing test.

I do it every time. Its not like it takes any longer to give it a quick pull back. I've pulled solid blood back a few times even in my glute. I think its a little lazy not to.

Inquiring minds want to know, I've been doing this over 30 yrs and never aspirated once!

Do you do it for piece of mind, Remember I'm a vet so i am in no way reccommending anyone to listen to my advice.

RADAR

Never have, it's over rated. I'm a trauma RN too :)

How can you even see if there's blood in the vial when you inject in the glutes? Even in a mirror it's too far away for my old peepers. lol
