How low on shoulders?

I can't get the bar down to my chest...I go as low as I can.

Don't forget...there are MANY variations. Use them all. Go lighter and deeper then heavier and less deep...

Every shoulder lift puts stress on your rotator cuffs. The bottom part of shoulder press would be no different than the placement at the top part of cleans would it not? Such power moves as clean and press, push presses come all the way down. I've previously injured my rotator cuff and going all the way down does not feel bad on my shoulder but I would like to hear your thoughts on this CoolColJ because you seem pretty knowledgeable about lifts. Don't wanna mess up my rotator cuff more than it already is:)

Well with the power clean, your elbows go forwards, it actually stretches the cuff region in a good way.

"I would strongly discourage you from doing any behind the neck military presses below the earlobe. They tend to separate the shoulder joint to an abnormal degree. Do military presses in front of the neck and not lower than the earlobe. "
