I found a tub of cottage cheese in my fridge waaaay in the back dated January 16 :worried:

Opened it and it wasn't moldy, nor did it smell funny. I tasted it (just a little) and it tasted fine.....

Toss it??

I'd just be wary of eating expired shit, 'cuz it has those dates on it for a reason. If you really don't notice a difference, I guess you could just eat it. Try a huge bowl, not a little taste.

You are crazy....if you have ever been sick on spoiled milk or cheese, you wouldnt even think twice..........I toss mine after a week, bar none.........

yum.....fermented cottage cheese....actually, I'm very happy that you didn't get sick, also makes me weary of the nutrient value of cottage cheese, or anything with a six month shelf life........

9 times out of 10 it is pretty safe

But if you have any doubt you may try to give to your cat first (j/k) ;)
