lol..I am kinda the opposite: my Balkan blood dont let me rest, man I am laid back mostly when by myself, when the kids are sleeping, when I dont have anything on my mind or anything to take care of. Otherwise I get annoyed from almost every little thing and a lot of times explode. You should see how this house looks like when our arabic and yugoslavian friends come over

My Dad always asks my mom to translate. I don't get arrogant or harsh. I usually keep the same tone. However, I do have certain movements (that's when the "sistah" attitude comes out, LOL).
