How do you enter a MMA fight?

bro
just walk into any bar on a saturday night around last call, find the biggest guy and kick him in the balls.
a few mins later you'll know what you need to work on.

Not to mention maybe some bail money, and a good attorney.

Id suggest doing some practical MMA first bro. Getting the GNP and subs down. Traditional martial arts are alot more for show than anything.

No offense, but that can't be further from the truth. Modern martial arts are more for show. Traditional ones are strictly for fighting. The whole reason the Chinese government has Wushu is because they wanted something that was non-threatening. I have a friend who learned Tae Kwon Do from a master who at one time instructed Korea's rock army. He never learned how to break boards 12 feet in the air or scream till he passed out.

Unfortunately all of the effective stuff isn't pretty so people aren't interested. Plus guns make hand to hand combat pretty inefficient.

I wish you all the luck. I would like to see a person with a martial arts background expand his fighting skills. That sounds like that is exactly what you intend on doing. Do your research and gradually kick some ass.

Man you nailed it there bro.
traditional is effective, brutal, ugly and does not work in any arena where you have rules. I turn away more students than I accept because what they want I can not offer and no need for me the BS them, I just send them to my friends ju-jutsu dojo. (he sends me the ones who don't like the break falls or grappling)

Thanks for the support :)

Usually through the door in the cage... but if you want to be theatrical you can climb the cage and jump in (maybe do a little backflip).... nyuck nyuck nyuck. ;)

If you want to test your skills go to the Gracie Academy in Torrance CA,.... ask them for a challenge match with Rener or Ryron Gracie,.....They have a cage like the UFC right there at the Academy.....they will gladly fight you and then you may even be in the next Gracies in action DVD ;)

yes the gracie academy in torrence still maintains as open door policy as with matt serra's school, gracie humaita in brazil and carlson's academy. or chute boxe in curitiba (heh heh heh :D :D:D). good luck.

or you can always fight kimbo in a 30 minute bare knuckle blood bath...
