My primary care physician is pissing me the fuck off, he keeps calling me out of the blue for me to go into the office for "follow up consults" when I have seen him a month or two before and NOTHING has changed or has been sent (no meds, no labs, no tests, no nothing), I had sent him my therapists referal for ADHD medication and he said he didnt feel comfortable giving me a script, yesterday I visited him due to an ear canal infection that has me fucked up in pain, I cant even bend over without getting sharp pain and dizziness and it now spread to my jaw, cant chew without pain and he sent me antibiotics and nothing else, just left me to fend the pain and pressure on my own.

I also dislike how cold and unemotional he is, he's always dismissing everything I say (he dismissed my low T concerns for husband until I strongly protested and I was fucking right), he also insists I have sinus allergies and am allergic to dog hair when I have ALWAYS had dogs and NEVER had allergies, honestly he can go fuck himself... I already have a new PCP lined up but I have no idea how to notify my current Dr that I need all my info sent to the new Dr, his office is all harassing and I'm sure they'll call me up to ask WTF is going on.... what a pain in the ass

I suck at these things... I just switched cable companies and I tried to avoid conflict so much that when the old company asked why I wanted to cancel I just said I was moving into a place that included cable lol, I knew that was bullet proof and they wouldnt push me to stay, it worked!

I agree with zeo. That's a perfect response. Just did the same thing for my 80 yr old grandmother and said damn near the exact same thing.
Nan it's your health and you're the one getting the bill. Fuck them. Do what you have to do. Life goes on, and when it's done you never have to talk to them again.

Talk about nerves I'm bringing medicinal marijuana to my doctor in a province that has apparently 1-2 docs prescribing it...... My anxiety is off the charts lol all you have to do is say goodbye.
Also in the states where your paying for your health it seems more logical to switch docs since you have to pay. A business decision of sorts

Just let his front office know you're going somewhere else. Your therapists opinion means dick when it comes to ADHD meds, and I wouldn't have given u pain meds for an ear infection either. Take some aleve.

I've never ever ever asked him for any kind of pain meds, the ADHD thing I get, it bother's me but I understand that he wants to cover his ass by referring me, I took ibuprofen, tylenol, even had an antinflammatory at home and this ear is still killing me, I can barely eat due to the pain in my jaw and you can see it inflamed, hell I teared up and screamed a little when he poked the exact infection area, I literally feel my heart beat it it, the pain is pretty severe, but then again it's not even about these two incidents it's just his demeanor, the way he belittles our concerns, how he's constantly trying to squeeze money out of us... it's a compilation of things.

You're over-thinking this , he will be glad to see the back of you ....constantly bugging the shit out him with you ADHD and hubby low T issues.

But be nice ...tell him its you and not him...that it was great while it lasted ..but its over.

Treating the infection will make the pain to away. Or I could poke a hole in your ear drum with a tooth pick to relieve the pressure.
