How am I doing here? Deadlift Progress

Ok I've been at this for 3 weeks now. My initial dead was 205 5x5. Now I'm up to 225 5x5? I'm 5'9 156lbs. I go up 10lbs per exercise every week and so far I've been extremely successful. My main goal is to have a high deadlift as its my favorite exercise. My 6 week goal is 255 for 5x5 deads.
 
not to bring ya down, but you wont go up 10 lbs a week for very long. just thought id let ya know
you dont neccasarily need to deadlift to be better at it:)
good to see you doing them, as they are wicked
 
agreed about the 10lb a week being too much...i know how it feels though, you dont want to add just 5lbs a week because you know you can do that 10, but stick with the 5lb a week uping...it will work out better in the long run for you.
