We base our punishments based upon the "trauma" the victim may have, not just the sex part.

In these cases, the lifelong impact is minimal if any. So the punishment CANNOT be the same.

It's akin to the difference between rapes of men by women and women by men. Or the sex between a 17 y/o and a 16 y/o. They aren't treated the same, neither should this.

I'm sittin' on the fence on this one. All the facts of the matter would have to be taken into consideration IMO. Such as, did she use her authority and power over the adolescent to seduce him. Or would he have fucked her no matter what. I have a problem with these age limits on sexual activity. All things should be taken into consideration and not just if a person is over 18 and the other person is under 17, then it's a crime to have sex with them. What do you think?

I don't know. Maybe. I wasn't there. I remember when I was 14 and I would have fucked some of my teachers if I could have. I can't see a 14 yr. old having the courage to try and seduce a teacher, so she probably did go after him. She was attracted to him and wanted to fuck him. Some penalty should be paid, because of her position as a teacher, being fired for sure. I don't know about jail time. Right now, I'd say no, depending on the circumstances.
