Horrible back pain - ideas?

I have the same thing dude. Mine hurts from my asshole to about 6 inches above my ass. My back has started popping too.

Mine seems to be getting better now. I attribute it to a week back and week abs. Ive started training abs harder like heavywear and it seems to help. I am also training my back a littel better making sure I have very good form.

I sleep with a pillow uner my knees while on my back, and a thick pillow between my knees while on my side.

I stretch my back everyday too. Lying on the floor on my back and raising my legs up over my head and touching my toes on the floor behind me.

Mine just came on gradual. I did nothing to tweak my back. Good sleeping positions and some good training should get it back into shape.

Core training hmm no wild changes, no less no more than usual, although I have changed my ab training a bit. hmmm...
 
I know what changed - I'm hunched over a drafting table more that I used to be.

No, but that does sound heaven.

I usually grab all the comforter and give it a big leg bear hug - feels pretty good actually.

OK now...I'm trying not to be sexual OR flirt in any way...lol...

When I sleep I lay on my side with a long pillow from groin to shins then another small pillow between my ankles. My legs touch when I stand shoulder width apart so laying on my side really wreaks havoc on my spine and hips if I don't have something keeping me 'in line' so to speak.

You could get some absorbine Jr...they have a nice smelling roll-on kind at Wal Mart. It doesn't work as well as icy-hot but it doesn't smell near as much either...lol.

I will try to get some pics of how I stretch my back out this evening or Wednesday at the latest.

Ok...here are some pics of what I do on a regular basis to stretch my back/hams. Excuse the pics...most of them were taken when I was not expecting it...lol

I use the medium band by www.jumpstretch.com and I do this in a series.
Right leg straight up:

Over to the right, wide and up:

Over to the left, wide and up, stretching the glutes and hams and lower spinal area:

Then I repeat all three with my right leg then do the left leg the same way.

Then, I do both legs in the same manner:

Over to the right, high and wide as I can:

Over to the left, high and wide as I can. I usually feel my lower spine pop and completely release when I do this one.

I then repeat both legs again and then lay on the floor and relax for about 5 minutes. Maybe try doing this 2-3x per day for several days.

I hope these help...and yes...the dog does help a lot with the stretches...lol ;)
