Home brew MRP?

the problem is, I need it to meet my calorie goal of 2500.

I'm currently running at 1800 with normal egg protein shakes..
but they give my digestive system a hard time (even with ginger root) so I wanted to concoct something in the 300-350 calorie range with moderate/low carbs and 50g protein using the caseing to soften the digestive impact . the sugar free carnation is 70 cals with 12g of carbs. leaving me with ~320 calories, and 50G of protein when I add the egg and caseine proteins. plus all the vitamins they add to the shake can't hurt.

I wanted to mimic the myoplex shake w/o the whey.. doing is this way works out to about 1.50 per shake (when buying the protein from proteinfactory)..

DD: yeah, there's a sugar free version.. only available in vanilla or chocolate.. it uses aspartame for sweetening and only has 12g total carbs.. not too bad.. pop an r-ALA when you take it, and you should be all set.

The problem is, one of the ingredients (powdered skim milk) has whey protein. All milk has whey too, I think it's 80% casein and 20% whey.

Interesting.. but I can handle whey in small amounts.. it doesn't seem to affect me like when I was using whey as my primary protein source

I suppose I can try.. and see what happens.. if I get sick and break out all over.. well.. time to try something else :)

Like you said, you can handle it in small amouts. The carnation thing probably hasn't got that much protein to begin with and with only 20% of that being whey it doesn't bother you much.

Well to meet ur quota why dont u eat something along with ur shake, it doesnt have to be IN your shake does it?
You could get some carbs in the form of some oats and just mix it into your protein shake and have it like a cold oat cereal or something.
