High School gets owned over sending kids home that wore U.S. Flag shirts on Cinco May

Students Sent Home Over American Flag Shirts

For those too lazy to watch vid.
1. Kids wear shirts, other attire sporting U.S. flag or versions thereof on Cinco de Mayo. (the irony is some of the kids are hispanic themselves)
2. Principal sends them home after some hispanic kids complain
3. District Administration disagrees with principal
4. Nothing in dress code regarding wearing the colors red, white, or blue.
5. No comment from principal
6. High School will allow red, white, and blue to be worn from now on

Parents should sue the district back to the stone age. The end.

Re: High School gets owned over sending kids home that wore U.S. Flag shirts on Cinco

They should beat down the kids who complained.

Maybe we should rethink our choice of words considering we have a hispanic moderator in C&C, huh?

so its ok for people of the same culture to do stupid things and get mad when people criticize them?

ok

cinco de mayo is such a bullshit holiday in the US. basically an excuse to get drink coronas and get smashed.

Re: High School gets owned over sending kids home that wore U.S. Flag shirts on Cinco

Screw Cinco De Mayo. If you want to celebrate your old countries holidays go live there. America celebrates July 4th in observance of Independence Day!

Re: High School gets owned over sending kids home that wore U.S. Flag shirts on Cinco

white people have lost all their balls due to reverse racism...

when a black/hispanic person has a stupid idea, and when soemone is against it (if they are white) they are racist lol

hope the white man gets his balls back.

Could care less on anyone's race. I hate everyone if they are stupid. Its just getting annoying that if the person is not white, im racist

im moving to TX or AZ lol

LMAO @ anyone claiming "Racism" any more. Anything said or done that a minority in America doesn't like, it's an automatic lawsuit against someone just to make sure we don't possibly offend a handful of people.

I agree, I just HATE stupid people and especially people that lack common sense.

If you don't like people talking about Cinco De Mayo, then talk to your fellow white people. White Americans are the ones that started making such a huge deal out of it up there, not Mexicans. It's a far bigger deal up here than in Mexico. This was just a case of ignorant Mexican-American kids who most likely have never even lived in Mexico.

And Grito de Dolores is our Independence Day and it's in September.

Very true. Cinco de Mayo is much bigger in the U.S. than it is in Mexico. Mexican beer and taquila companies marketed the hell out of it in the U.S., and the Americans bought it hook, line and sinker.

Re: High School gets owned over sending kids home that wore U.S. Flag shirts on Cinco

I bought it hook line and sinker  I celebrate every year. We used to have an annual cinco de mayo party @ my house every year. I'm German :)

White guilt has caused every white liberal in America to give every non-white-male their own day/month/week, whatever. Overall it lends the nation to cultural fracturing and self-segregation.

Whatever I'll talk to white and black friends of mine. The only Mexicans I ever see are laying sod or causing a stir on television about good laws like the one the Arizona Governor enacted.

Yeah but wearing american flags on a mexican holiday is RACIST! This cannot be allowed for it for it's not PC!! Mexicans run this contry bitch, people are so quick to forget

Hmm... that sound similar to another day we celebrate in this country that has nothing to do with America. The only difference is that on that day you all get shit faced to green colored alcohol.
5 De Mayo really has nothing to do with Mexico and more to do with American gluttony, regardless of color or ethnic background as does the above mentioned "holiday". Go to Mexico on 5 De Mayo and see who's getting plastered at the bars? I can guarantee you they aren't locals and they aren't Mexican.
As for denigrating strawberry pickers, what is the point of doing that? Would you rather they be doing something else like robbing and or killing you for your property? And who said that it's only Mexican picking these strawberries or any other type of produce? Go out to Central California and you'll see a menagerie of race struggling to eek out a living. They (the strawberry pickers - no racial denomination) are hard working people that are willing to do the jobs that your pretty little hands would never ever concede to doing.
And before anyone questions it, I am very proud to be an American citizen (born and raised) of Latin descent.

Re: High School gets owned over sending kids home that wore U.S. Flag shirts on Cinco

St. Patricks day is a bullshit holiday also, so what. The difference is no one is getting offended or sent home from school when mexicans wear mexican flag shirts on St. Patricks day.

I wouldn't get pissy if you'd refered to the white kids as honkeys or crackers...but now that I know you're so sensitive, I will not poke fun.

What do you mean so what? The point was, everyone (in this thread) is up in arms because Mexicans (and pretty much everyone else regardless of color or race) in this country celebrate an (Americanized) day of recognition which in reality is just a marketing ploy IMHO. But, no one is talking shit about the other days for other nationalities/ethnicities which other than pointing to a different flag have the same outcome, drunken belligerence and the over indulgence of alcohol with potentials for physical harm from fighting and drunk driving.

Just because you don't care about ANY holiday doesn't discredit my point.

The whole point of the thread was that people got offended (hispanic students) and complained which resulted in other kids who wore american flag shirts getting sent home. My point is that St. Pattys day is just another marketing ploy with the exception that no one gets offended or sent home when someone wears a mexican flag shirt on St. Pattys day. This is a fairly obvious distinction bor.

Re: High School gets owned over sending kids home that wore U.S. Flag shirts on Cinco

So...mother's day is nearly here. Anyone planning on "tucking" as to not offend the wimminz?

Such retardedness up in this country. As much as he is a blathering, egotistical dickweed, Mike Savage is right in that if we don't want to lose our country to the decay (in several forms) that is, we need to protect our CULTURE, LANGUAGE, and BORDERS!

Red, white, and blue - or get back on the other side of the fence!!!!!!!!!!

Re: High School gets owned over sending kids home that wore U.S. Flag shirts on Cinco

So many wrong thigs in this thread.

1- "White" America uses EVERY occasion to get drunk and pass out....regardless of what they celebrate

2- America doesnt feel "guilty" about anything. The reason they give different ethnicities holidays is because ethnicities like Mexicans control large portions of the states, like Cali or different places out there. It's the same way here in Canada. When you have a large population of Asians and indians, they will get their own shit. It's all a game of numbers. It all goes back to voting and who those ethinicities will vote for, because when you have about 14% of a certain ethnicity, like Polish or Irish or Mexican or w/e in the US, these people can actually affect decisions made in the government.

3- Borders have been invisible since forever. Wheren't the natives living there before Columbus took the land and then it was no longer the natives home? Not that I support the natives getting high and drunk and stealing trucks all day long (oh sue me for saying that) but all i'm saying is that large numbers of a certain ethnicity always has power.

4- the US interferes in world politics everyday and is dubbed "the savior" of countries of tries to appear that way. How would it lok if they said fuck everyone we dont care about you?? Not too good.

5- P.S. I know nothing at 5 de Mayo all I know is people go crazy drunk and get into fights. Oh yeh, and mostly they're white people...go figure.

6- At the same time, I dont believe there's anything wrong with wearing your country's flag, other than wearing on that day is just to say" fuck the Mexicans we're taking this country back" which is not a cool move...that's why people complained...not because of the american flag, but because the white kids were instigating shit and wanted to piss people off.

My 2 cents

I guess you neglected to read the part where I wrote "(in this thread)" which meant that my point was in direct reference to the points being made on this thread.

Anyway, I expressed my point and I am done with the convo. Next time 5 De Mayo, or St. Paty's day rolls around, first round of SuperStim is on me :)
