To wear in school? I say nay. He can wear it to the beach 8 days a week.

(he can't really)

Agree with that. Clothing in schools shouldn't condone hate crime. That shirt had murdered people hanging from a goddamn truck. That's just good parenting there.

my friend is a football coach there... i thought it was a nice high school... its brand new they just built the school like 2 years ago....

What's the difference between a public school and a public beach?

A ahirt's just a shirt, it never hurt anyone, but no one says anything when the black kid hit him. I guess if someone calls you a name, violence is OK?

btw, Jacksonville, very racist city.

The school probably (I'm guessing) has a stated policy forbidding clothing with offensive illustrations, drug, alcohol, or tobacco slogans. I'd bet the beach doesn't. Plenty of cases all over about kids being sent home for offensive clothing.

Yep, it's his consitutional right to be complete douchebag. His first amendment rights go out the window, when he is displaying what the federal government classifies as a hate crime.

Hate crime? for a t shirt? I thought a hate crime was clearly defined as "whites beating up blacks" but never "blacks beating up whites?"

Thought crime to follow next?

Anyway, yeah, that's Jax...where the old line has tried and tried to keep all the blacks on (1) the northside (2) the west side (3) jail. The northside has been rehabbed quite a bit though.

Nothing out here surprises me anymore.

offensive to whom? It clearly doesn't offend everyone.

Offensive to one guy? Some? 2/3? 1/2? 40%? 20% 50% of the surrounding 40 acres and a mule?

See where this is going?

It's like Bulworth said, "We all have to keep fucking each other until we're all the same color".

Seems to me we are trying to legislate a country where we all have to like each other.

This almost makes me want to do a vote on how many caucasion people have been called a racist remark by a none caucasion when it was unprovoked of course hmmmmmm.Something people may need to look at to this to see where the real racism is comeing from.KKK are a very small part of our society.

I grew up in West Philly, 30 blocks west of UPENN. For a while I actually would answer to "cracker". When you get treated like that for such a long time it's hard not to hold on to some feelings whenever you come across a group that has wronged you. My kids will never know how I sometimes feel. After moving out of that area to one where people were educated and made a decent living, all walks of life, it's easy to see that it's more the area and dumb motherfuckers than it is a whole group.

Ya see, the back of the t-shirt depicted two black people being drug behind the back of a truck, driven by two hooded klansmen........

That there, is what we call a hate crime. According to the FBI, you can not think it, display it, or do it. As far as thought crime, I'm sure that's not to far away.

But instead of arguing semantics, I'd rather chalk this up to: we're all on the same page, the kid was in the wrong, got his ass whooped, which will either do one of two things; deter him from doing this again, or further drive the misplaced negative stereotypes he already had deeper into his psyche.

They had problems like this during my last year of HS. Everyone was wearing those dixie outfitter t-shirts. Not like that one, but just ones w/ conf. flags on them w/ camo. or little dogs..outdoors type stuff. I think the fucker should get his ass beat. But I don't agree on this whole double standard shit where black comedians are allowed to make fun of white people or depict them in ways they find funny, but whites can't do the same. I don't agree w/ that shit.

that guy deserved to get beat down.. its a shame that the black student probably got suspended too.
they both deserve to be suspended.

the black studnet didnt get assault charges or anything, they were just suspended, who cares, fighting=suspension

i think the whitey shoulda gotten a bit more of a punishment though, for fighting, and for wearing shirts that go against school dress code
