Hi Bunni - About the weight gain from birth control - when I switched pills (I forget what I was taking before) the weight gain was no longer a problem. I now take Ortho TriCyclen and it has not made me gain any weight (I've been taking it for 2 years now).

I have friends who have tried different birth control pills until they found one that didn't cause them to gain weight - I think it's a very individual reaction.

Just a thought.....
