HGH and R-ALA

Is taking a-ALA with GH ( no slin ) a good idea for fat burning?
Hey dude, seems like you've cutting for months now? You gotta be getting pretty low in bf.

Are you feeling run down at all?

I can't cut for more than 12 weeks without going whacko. My energy levels are low and temper has a very short fuse.

BTW you're looking pretty good in the avatar.

No I do not feel run down because I indulge in anything I want " but in moderation " over the weekends.

Monday - Friday strict diet

Weekends all hell breaks lose!

Well don't you think he's a bit right? If I take GH to cause insulin resistance and help in the fat buring process. Then taking r-ALA ( insulin mimicker ) will only hinder me from shedding fat.

insulin resistance is a side effect of GH, its not what causes fat loss, though insulin suppression does aid in lipolysis. R+ is not an insulin mimicker. R+ does work through AMPK and PPAR modulation.

as a note- Insulin resistance causes fat gain, because it causes your body to release more insulin. Now in the case where you are using GH, by not using R+ you are getting less lipolytic effect than you might be able to. Because your body will have to compensate (when GH does not clear carbohydrates) by releasing more insulin. Improving insulin sensitivity will keep plasma insulin low, carbohydrate uptake sufficient and lipolysis at maximum.

So what about during bulkers? Wouldn't I want insulin levels high!? Taking r-ALA will decrease that. By improving insulin sensitivity. This is what you just said. read above ^

you want insulin levels high if you want to gain fat mass. Insulin levels will rise during overfeeding, even with R+ use (they will rise less, but they will still rise).

as a note- basal plasma insulin (fasting levels) is more than sufficient for amino uptake.

yes but if they rise less...then less chance of getting muscle. Insulin will make someobody fat. Period! But it does help a whole lot in building muscle. So why would I want to lessen insulin during bulkers? Doesn't make sense to me.
