Help with Spinning songs

Hello EF women,

I have a friend that has recently acquired a job teaching a spin class and I
was wondering if anyone can help me with music for the said class.
I'm aware that they have to vary from slow to fast and vice a versa. The thing is that she doesn't want to use so many 'commercial' songs or radio songs. They will be a few of those, but what else are great songs or music for that matter, that you would love to listen too while spinning??

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

Spinning is very BIG at my gym , they have video screens , laser light the whole bit

The instructors primarily play "electronic" or dance remixes , like in a club. It gets every body moving and grooving

She should visit Napster or Limewire , they are both fee based music exchange sites , and search the genre's titled , "House" , "Dance" , "Trance" , "Electronica" . They allow you to listen to a 30 sec sound bit before purchasing , and then she can download to her computer or MP3.

I used to take Spinning but can't remember the songs used in the class......darn!

But 1 tip I can offer is to not necessarily pick only music she (the instructor) likes. I mean it helps if she likes the music she picks....but what I mean is is that we had 1 instructor who ONLY played Grateful Dead songs cuz that's what he liked & it was pretty annoying. But try to pick some fun upbeat songs that people can get into....
