Help w/diet plan

Hi,
I am trying to figure out a direction to go with my diet that will allow me to build LBM and still lose some BF. I am 5'6" and currently weigh 330lbs. I have lost 220lbs on a mostly vegetarian diet. I want to build LBM and am putting the BF loss aside for a few weeks to concentrate on the LBM cycle. I have been reading about the 40-30-30 diet and it's the only direction I haven't gone yet. Can anyone please tell me about what calorie level I should be at and help me break down my meals in to 4-5 meals a day, or if you can point me to a reference I would appreciate it.

I have been trying to stay at 2000 calories on days when I don't lift and 2600 on days when I do lift.

I do cardio on the days when I don't lift.
I lift 3 days a week.

I appreciate any help.

Dave

since you are trying to build lean body mass I would cut out the cardio. That will definately inhibit muscular growth. You should be getting around 3,000 calories each day. For your weight I would suggest about 400g of protein, 400g of carbs, and about 60g of good fats. I realize that all that can be hard (and very expensive) to do so I would definately suggest trying to slim down a little more to make it easier and cheaper.
