what exercises do you reccomend doing with a 5x5 standing push press to really make my shoulders grow, they are one of the many lagging parts on my body, and the only one im stumped about :(

If it's your side head that's weak, Lateral Cable Raises; if it's your front head, Dumbell Front Raises with an underhand grip and slight bend at the elbow.

its kind of both =)
i have db rises in there now, maye ill throw in some cable raises, i would do plate raises but find it difficult to hold more then a 45 and i like to increase weight...

Hard for me to hold more than one plate in my hands as well. Anyone got any good advice for this?

Well if it's both heads then scratch what I said before. You can hit both heads with one exercise with less additional recovery demands than doing both the adjunctive isolation movements I mentioned: Dumbell Overhead Presses Partials on a seat with a vertical back support, palms facing forward, arms directly to the sides of torso. Don't go below your ears for the sake of your rotator cuffs, and by staying away from lockout you can minimize the involvement of the tris and serratus which largely take over the last portion of the movement to lockout and therby use more weight to overload your delts.

Since you're doing the Push Presses at a high speed for low reps, do the following Dumbell Overhead Press Partials at a more moderate tempo for moderate reps.

Add upright rows. Hands 8-10 in apart. Drag the weight against your body. Lean back as you raise the weight. Heavy. 2 sets. 8-12 reps.
