Help me interpret my wife's blood tests please ...

My wife is a competitive bb on the local level and is having a hard time getting rid of some weight that she used to be able to shed with ease. She is working hard, her diet is good, etc... She is getting frustrated. She's not really looking to drop the fat for show (she judges now), but for lifestyle.

We are trying to rule things out and one thing we wanted to look at was her hormone levels. These are results of her blood test ... we were told that everything falls within the "normal" range, but we all know that there are high-ends, low-ends and what may be normal for the average joe isn't really that good for a physique athlete. So, those that know, can you tell me how these look for a female? Is there anything that can be "optimized"?

Prolactin: 12 NG/ML
LH: 6.6 MIU/ML
FSH: 7.0 MIU/ML
Estradiol: 48 PG/ML
T4 Free: 0.97 NG/DL
TSH: 1.77 uIU/ML

She is 30 years old. Karma for help if that's an incentive ...

Where are her total and free testosterone levels bro?

RG:)

I put down everything that was on the testing sheet... It was a doctor-ordered test (we were told it would be complete, so we didn't think to ask for specific tests)... The same question came about about T3...

Do we need additional tests that show test and T3 levels? Does this existing test have any information to offer?

She did an oxandrolone cycle a year and a half ago but was clean at the time of this test.

I just assumed that she had taken some gear at some time within the year and was wondering what her natural test levels are. Some ladies have really low(too low) natural test.

The T4 is good....you don't need a T3 done.

If the T4 is good, that should indicate her thyroid function is good? Correct?

Do the rest of the values look good? Should we get her a test that measures testosterone levels? What's important to know in a blood test (particularly for a female)?

I appreciate your patience in answering my questions. Your answers are appreciated ...

I don't mean to distract from Machine's questions and forgive the ignorance of my question.

If a woman has declining estrogen levels does that automtically mean that her test levels are increasing?

I was thinking that same thing -- or at the very least, if her estrogen is decreasing would that mean that in the absence of available estrogen receptors, would her test level remain the same, but her free test level be skewed???

It probably means both levels are decreasing; but I defer to those more versed.
