Hello elite fitness members

I have been reading here for a while and thought i might introduce myself.

Here are some stats:

height - 6'
weight - 185 pounds
bf% - 15.5
Measurements L/R in
Upper arm - 14.25/14.5
Chest - 44.25
Forearm - 12/12
Waist - 35.5
Thigh - 23/23.75
Calf - 14.5/15

Its not very impressive (yet!). I have been training for 4 years, the first 3 on and off with light weights and bodyweight exercises. I made good gains, not in weight but I improved the way I looked, and my friends made jokes about me being the muscly one, but my arms were only 12.5in at the time! I think it was because i had a low bodyfat then so my muscles were more clearly visible than they with their flabby arms and beer bellies. In the last year I made most of my gains, I put on about 25 pounds and took my training and diet more seriously. I read up a lot in that time as well.

People do not have much knowledge about bodybuilding. Talking to a work colleague a few days ago, he told me he see's this guy who is massive and ripped and he was saying "his legs are huge, it's because of all the cycling he does". It took some convincing to tell him that cycling does not build massive legs. Another example, someone was telling me he needed to put weight on to get in the army because he was borderline weight. His plan was to go out dancing twice a week. Seriously. He took some convincing too! Both times i said take marathon runners and sprinters as examples. If their theories are correct then both would be heavily muscled, but long distance runners are all skinny and look unhealthy, whereas sprinters who's sport requires short bursts of exercise with greater intensity are usually well muscled.

Well thats about all I have to say for now
