here is a bread that i make that is really fast and really easy:
grease with pam two loaf pans or an 8 x 8 cake pan
then in a large bowl mix the following together: 5 cups whole wheat flour and another cup of soy/barley/rye or whatever else type of flour you want [you can also substitute 6 cups whole wheat flour] add half cup bran, two pkgs of regular yeast, a tsp salt, half cup sugar [white or brown or mix] and 3.5 to 4 cups warm water
beat like hell for 3 minutes then dump into the pan/s
let rise for an hour or until doubles in bulk
bake 400 for 15 min then 350 for another 30 to 45 min.
I needed bread and was sick of the 50 ingredients on the labels. This is yummy ... it really is!!
