Healthy breads?

What are some? Does any have some brand name brands that they can give me that don't have anything bad and I can eat with good conscious.

I've been taking this Beefsteak Rye Hearty Rye Bread. It doesn't have high fructose syrup, unlike it's soft rye counterpart, so I thought it was good. Is it?

Here's the list of Ingredients:

Enriched Wheat Flour [Flour, Barley Malt, Ferrous Sulfate (Iron), "B" Vitamins (Niacin Thiamine Mononitrate (B1), Riboflavin (B2), Folic Acid)], Water, Rye Flour, Yeast. Contains 2% Or Less Of: Wheat Gluten, Soybean Oil, Salt, Caraway Seed, Dough Conditioners [Sodium Stearoyl Lactylate, Potassium Bromate), Mono And Diglycerides, Datem, Ground Caraway Seed, Vinegar, Malic Acid, Acetic Acid, Lactic Acid, Spices, Natural Flavors, Calcium Propionate (To Retain Freshness).

When it comes to bread, I'll be blunt......I know very little....I know what ingredients are junk, etc...but bread is not my forte'......I do know, howver, that 99% of the people you find around here lump it with protein bars as two foods to avoid..........just an fyi

Some smart guy should actually make a healthy bread....I bet they would be shocked how many people would buy it.

Can you make bread from oatmeal?

I don't eat bread because of my bodies shitty response to carbs, however, latortilla factory low carb tortillas are perfect for my needs. They contain tons of fiber with like 3 impact carbs and are only 60cals. They satisfy my urges to eat starchy foods.

I don't know what you mean by healthy but a good type of bread you can eat is Pumpernickle bread. Its really low on the GI scale.

PEACE

the low carb tortillas are my choice as well.

You can buy them at www.latortillafactory.com or at Health Food stores, or if you are in the states, Ingles grocery stores have them alot cheaper.

You'll find HFCS in just about all bakery items... They say it makes their bread have a fresher, just made-look.
