Have any of you been a stripper?

I'm thinking about becoming a male stripper to help raise funds while in school. Might as well considering how much time I spend in the gym in all. I was just curious if any of you have done this before. If so, did you make good money? Did you enjoy it? What tips would you give to someone just starting out? Both male and female replies would be great.

I was under the impression that most male strippers were gay

Correct me if i am wrong.

Hmmm...I don't think most male strippers are gay... ALL male strippers are gay. J/K, you know you could try being a personal trainer or something.

^^ for somebody with actual experience as a stripper.

I haven't been a stripper personally but I was a bartender in a male stripper bar- Not to be contrary to what most of you guys think about nmale strippers- MOST of the strippers were straight even though MOST of the customers were gay men. They made TONS of money- NO SHIT! Most of the guys made extra by letting guys blow them- but they kept that on the downlow- us bartenders knew what was up becauase they used to help us close at the end of the night and there would be a line of cars out front waiting for the strippers whenthey got off. It was an unspoken rule not to talk about it- though some of the strippers were gay or bi and didnt care. Al ot of the guys girlfriends would hang out in the bar...not all of them "went the extra mile" but those that did laughed all the way to the bank. Those that didnt still made good money from what I saw or they wouldn't do it.

As long as you keep your shit together and don't get "sucked in" (ha, ha) to the lifestyle, you can make some decent coin.

I knew a woman once who was married and her and her husband wanted to buy a house (she was a knockout). Her husband said what the fuck, and she stripped for a year and they put a down payment on a VERY nice home.

I asked her about it and she said basically what I just said. She just showed up, danced, and left. Then she'd come back, dance, and leave. Never stayed for a drink, never chatted people up. Just in and out (yeah, haha). Thanks for my money.

Then she quit. Neve did it again as far as I know.

You just need to know who YOU are and stay the fuck away from that lifestyle. Save the money you make, every fucking penny!
