i'm too damn busy working my ass off to be in charge of any of that running-the-household shit...and she's way better at it than me...why the fuck i wanna mess with that?

if my priorities are straight and my family comes before everything and she's already said she's ok with it (I didn't need the permission but I guess knowing about it makes her feel better), what reason would she have to go through it? she must be pissed and looking for something to fuss about/leverage at that point

but this whole discussion is irrelevant. my wife and son have all their needs met and their wants are miles ahead of mine.

I see. I could see knowing. I'm pretty laid back with it (my ex had it out in the open and I didn't care at all) but he always told me before each cycle.

Anything that will have an effect on your temperment/mood/etc you pry oughta give your live in partner a heads up about just so you can have a good relationship. I'd be hurt if it was kept from me, but not angry, or wanna bite anyone's dick off haha. That is insane.

Can't be busy and stressed at work and worry about household expenditures and dentist appointments.

If something happened to my wife, electricity and water would be cut off in about 2 weeks. I don't even know where the checkbook is.
 
Ill say one thing i do run the show around my house but sometimes you need to get bit to not get big headed i guess.....

nah...it was just a perfect opportunity for me to come clean and admit that i'm sorta whipped...and i mostly don't mind...i have to be the-brains all day at work and make all sorts of important decisions...i'm ok with being the-muscle at home...she's the capo, i'm the soldier, capiche? :lmao:

in reality? it's a partnership...she's takes care of the shit that she's good at and i take care of the shit that i'm good at...and i always have her back, no matter what...it's worked really wonderfully for 24+ years...everyone should be so lucky.
