Ok how about his for a home gym? Up to 410lb which was the problem with bowflex. Free weights still better for casual bodybuilding?

This thing is a joke. I tried it out at a nordic track store. I usually curl 60lbs or so with free weights ( I am new to strength training). I could curl 180 on this thing no problem. Do yourself a favor like I did and buy a power rack, bench and some free weights. Much cheaper and better. If you must go with a machine try a Hoist or pwertec leverage gym.

I got an olympic set, I'm looking at squat rack/bench combos. I dont have enough room for an entire power rack and these combos are only around 200. Would that work?

If you have room for a 7 foot bar you should have room for a rack. Space was also a premium for me and the power rack did not take up any more of a footprint than a sqaut rack would have. You will need room to sqaut and since you sqaut inside the rack the space requirements are pretty much the same.
